Week of March 20, 2017
Please recall that we have 11:30 dismissal on Friday.  Have a wonderful spring break!
The following are academic goals for the week:

Religion:  Please join us for Mass on Wednesday at 8:30 in the church.

Spelling:  Our words this week are: thought, fought, bought, taught, caught, walk, cough, talk, daughter, ought, sought, brought, trough, chalk, stalk, sidewalk, distraught, afterthought, overwrought, and beanstalk. Our spelling test will be Friday morning.

Reading:  We will begin a new story, in the genre of realistic fiction, titled, Good-Bye 382.  High frequency/selection words are: airport, curious, delicious, described, farewell, homesick, memories, and raindrops.  Other comprehension activities we will work on are sequencing, comparing and contrasting, and identifying adverbs in sentences.  We should be ready for a reading test Friday morning.

Math:  We will continue with our chapter on decimals and money.  We should be ready for a math test on Thursday. After spring break, we will begin working on customary measurement.

Science: After a review, students will have a Science test Monday afternoon.  Our next chapter deals with changes in our Earth.

Have a wonderful week!  Don't hesitate to contact me for anything!
